Cape Neddick (The Nubble) Lighthouse, York Harbor, Maine. By Rick Berk.

Nubblewave2.jpg (61136 bytes)
"I shot it on November 1, 2025 at sunset. Camera was a Canon EOS 1n, on a Bogen tripod, Canon 28-70f2.8 lens at about f 11, aperture priority. Film was Fuji Velvia rated at 40 ASA. I also a used a graduated neutral density filter over the sky half of the image, to better balance the exposure
between the bright sky and the darker water.

If you would like to submit a photograph to this page, please read and observe the following. Submissions not in line with the following guidelines will not be posted here.

Send images ONLY in .JPG or .BMP format. All others will not even be opened. You may send a print by postal service, but I will not return the print, so DO NOT send your only copy.

Be sure to include your name, the name of the lighthouse, the name of the photograph (if applicable) and any other information you deem important.

There is no guarantee that I will use the photo on this site. If I do not, feel free to ask me why I did not use it. Please allow me some time before assuming I am not using it. My schedule is very tight, and this is not my highest priority. I will try to be prompt, though.

Submit only your best photograph. Only one please, unless there is a good reason for sending more.

I may make slight changes in size, brightness and contrast at my disgression. If you disagree with any changes, I will be happy to discuss the matter. If we cannot come to an agreement, I will remove the photo from the site.

Important: Please understand that you are allowing me to publish your photo on this web site (www.longislandlighthouses.com) with out any compensation, financial or otherwise. I cannot guarantee that others will not copy photographs from this site without your permission. If this happens, and you wish to pursue the matter legally, you are entirely on your own. If, at any time, you decide you no longer wish to have your photograph on this site, please notify me in writing (e-mail will do). If the photo is still there in 30 days, send me a letter via postal service.

Optional: Send me as much information as you can about that photograph (camera, filters, film, settings, any digital modifications, date/time, etc.)

Optional: If you would like your name in the form of an e-mail hyperlink, please let me know.

Send all submissions to: LILighthouses@aol.com  or via Postal Service: Robert G. Müller, PO Box 281, Stony Brook, NY 11790.
