This book is an authentic reproduction of the 1911 Instructions to Light Keepers (it even looks old), originally issued by the Bureau of Lighthouses, under the Department of Commerce and Labor, on September 1, 1911. The original from which this copy was made belonged to Long Island keeper George Ehrhardt, who served at Long Beach Bar, Plum Island and was the last keeper at Horton Point. This book is dedicated to the memory of Marguerite Ehrhardt Conway, George's daughter. 16 pages. $5 The History of
